Who is behind Hand Crafted Gift Boxes?
My name is Pauline Mitchell and I am a work from home mum of 2 boys. I live in Mandurah Western Australia and have a dog and 2 cats. I work from home and love it and I love providing these products to everyone.
How is my gift box packaged?
All Hand Crafted Gift Boxes boxes are wrapped in bubble wrap and brown paper to protect them during shipping. If there are items inside the box then they will be nestled in wood wool so they do not move around or get damaged. If for a present the gift box will include a card with an inscription of your choice.
What is the cost of shipping?
Small items flat rate of $8.95
Boxes flat rate of $11.95
Express Shipping $15.00
I charge a low flat rate to keep the prices low for my customers. Many people charge free shipping however the cost of shipping is included in your order and can be more than what it costs!
How and when does my order get shipped?
We aim for all boxes to be processed and posted within 1-3 days depending on the order. Please give at least a week for your order to be delivered to you. All of our delivery estimates are provided under Section: Shipping and Delivery.
Do you ship outside Australia?
Yes we do. We charge a flat rate shipping of $20 to ship internationally. However please be aware that some countries do not except wooden products to be sent. If you would like to send internationally please contact me at email@example.com and I can make sure that your gift will be delivered safely to the destination you need.
Do you express ship within Australia?
Yes we do. We charge a flat rate of $15 to ship by express post using Australia Post.
What if I need to order a box urgently?
We send all our boxes using Australia Post. If you require urgent delivery, provided it is not a custom order, we can use Australia Post Express Service at an extra cost to you. If you are in Perth there can be a possibility of delivery, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can arrange delivery.
What if I change my mind?
Unfortunately we do not do exchanges and returns for decision changes. However, if you receive an item from us and it is not in a suitable condition, we are happy to arrange a refund or exchange. Please read our guidelines on Return Policy.
Do you do custom orders?
Of course! Want to swap out an item, hit a certain price point, or create a memorable one-of-a-kind gift? Send us a note at email@example.com to get started. Please take note, having a customised gift box will take 1-2 weeks before despatch depending on availability of requested items.
Do you do engraving of names on your gift boxes?
Yes we do offer this service. Please inform us at checkout. At the moment we offer a child’s name, initials or family name.
Do you deliver to local hospitals?
Yes we do offer this service. If you would like to send a gift box to a new mum at a hospital, please inform us at checkout.
Can I add a personalised note?
You bet! Please write your personal note or sentiment at checkout. You can find this area under "order notes" on the shopping cart page. If you prefer to write your own message, please add a note to include a blank card with your gift. You can always email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to add any notes to your order.
What is your return policy?
Due to the time and attention to detail we take in assembling your gift, all sales are final. We take great care in making sure your gifts get to you just as pretty as they left us. If there has been damage to your item(s) in transit, please notify us immediately at email@example.com
Do you deliver to PO Boxes, locked bags, or parcel lockers?
What if I am not home when the gift box arrives?
If there is no-one in attendance to authorise receipt of the parcel, the delivery agent will leave a card and return the parcel to the depot where it will be held until instructions to re-deliver are provided. If no instructions are provided within 5 days the parcel will be returned to me.
What if I did not receive my gift box after a certain period of time?
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org within twenty business days of the last date of the delivery date. We will arrange for a refund or a re-delivery if your item has been lost in transit.
